I got the afternoon off one day and took a stroll down to the local beach. Lucky for me the weather was absolutely stunning and I managed to snap some great pics of the area.
The beach is home to a large number of sea birds and is actually classified as a bird sanctuary/nature reserve so no camping or hunting is allowed here.
There are a couple of farmsteads scattered around this place and one has quite a few horses – which look to be Icelandic.
I was tempted to go for a swim but I’m sure the water temperature wasn’t above 5 degrees!
