A few weeks ago myself and one of the other handlers (plus Troy the dog) hiked up the big mountain behind the property where I live. To reach the top of the mountain takes just over 2 hours. The first stop was a lake with a mailbox where you can ‘sign in’ and let people know that you’ve hiked up to this point. The next mailbox to visit is right at the top of the mountain on a big rock pile.
The views from the top of the mountain were spectacular (as is the norm here in Norway) and you could see pretty far off into the distance to even more mountains and fjords.
